These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hakeem Invest website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who we are

“Hakeem Invest”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the operator of the Service. We provide educational and informational tools for investing research such as data views, screeners, scoring frameworks (e.g., moat/management scoring), watchlists, and related content.

2) Important disclaimers (no financial advice)

Not investment advice. The Service is provided for information and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

No fiduciary relationship. We are not acting as your advisor, broker, dealer, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

No guarantees. Markets involve risk. Past performance and any backtests, examples, or model outputs do not guarantee future results. Any projections are hypothetical and may be wrong.

Use at your own risk. You acknowledge that investing can result in losses, including total loss of capital.

3) Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

4) Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

5) Subscriptions, billing, and payments

5.1 Subscription plans

Unless you cancel before renewal, your subscription may renew automatically at the then-current price (as permitted by your payment provider and applicable law).

5.4 Taxes

Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Where required, taxes (VAT or similar) may be added at checkout.

5.5 Price changes

We may change prices or plans from time to time. If changes affect your subscription, we will provide notice as required by applicable law and/or the payment provider’s rules.

6) Cancellation and refunds

6.1 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription through your account settings or via the payment provider’s customer portal (if provided). Cancellation typically stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund amounts already paid for the current billing period.

6.2 Refund policy (simple and fair)

Unless a different policy is presented at checkout, the following applies:

Monthly plans: generally non-refundable once the billing period begins, except where required by law or in cases of duplicate/erroneous charges.

Annual plans: may be eligible for a pro-rated refund only if explicitly stated at checkout or required by law.

If you experience technical issues that prevent reasonable access to the Service, contact support and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it; if not resolved, we may offer a refund or credit at our discretion.

7) What you may and may not do

7.1 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, scrape, harvest, or extract data/content at scale using bots, automation, or scripts (except where we explicitly allow it);

attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access non-public areas of the Service;

interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security features;

upload malware or attempt unauthorized access.

7.2 Rate limits and anti-abuse

We may apply rate limits and other controls to protect the Service and our users. Repeated abuse may result in suspension or termination.

8) Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including design, text, graphics, logos, scoring models, user interface, and content (excluding third-party content), are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms.

9) Third-party data, links, and content

The Service may display or reference third-party data (e.g., market data, company filings, news, or other sources). We do not guarantee third-party data accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Third-party links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

10) Service availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim for reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

you violate these Terms,

your use creates risk for the Service or other users,

we are required to do so by law or a payment provider, or

for suspected fraud/abuse.

If we terminate without cause, we may provide an appropriate credit or refund at our discretion, subject to payment provider rules and applicable law.

12) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Paid Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if greater rights are required by law, the minimum allowed).

13) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

14) Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You agree that we may process your data as described there.

15) Governing law and disputes
